What's really awesome about this article, or not awesome, depending how you look at it, is that my father-in-law had this idea years ago and talks about it all the time.
Well, someone finally beat him to it. Welcome to the ingenious-ness of Tap'd NY. Tap'd NY is nothing more than NY tap water that has been purified and bottled. It's usually cheaper than the competition and has the big named city backing it up. The description on the bottle is hilarious... "No glaciers were harmed in making this water."
Craig Zucker, the founder says, "it doesn't require energy or pumping... and it's so pure and clean." I don't know why he thinks that makes any sense. Someone's pumping it. How else would he be able to get it from kitchen sink? And clean? It's from a NY tap!
Well, the water is cheaper, and NY does have pretty decent tasting tap water, so I guess the guy has a winner over here. Good luck to him.
